Welcome to this month’s SPM newsletter!

Thanks for taking a moment to catch up with what has been happening with our project partners in Myanmar, and how your support is making a real difference on the ground. Your partnership is important to us, and we’re grateful to have you alongside us in this work.

Thank you so much for your support during our EOFY campaign! We raised just over $11,000 for the neonatal CPAP machine and just over $700 for the mum and baby bags. We have sent these funds off to our partner Earth Mission and hopefully will soon have some photos to share with you.

110 children are enrolled in the school program. The staff recently weighed and measured all the children and found that, unsurprisingly, the majority had a BMI in the undernourished range. Giving the children a nutritious lunch each day is one small way of trying to address this problem. The staff also held an information session for parents where 48 attended to learn more about ways they can support their children’s learning. Sewing classes have commenced again and 16 women have taken part over the first half of this year.

Mon and Eh Hsu - Please continue to pray for Mon and Eh Hsu as they make plans to return to RTC for a period. Here is a note from Mon: Thanks again for all the support you give. This past month has humbled me greatly as I have seen important goals reached. I am so totally thankful for whatever aspect of support you gave. Reading the breakdown of funds going to projects and very excitingly for me - a bubble CPAP for our wee babes has been incredible! Seeing the way our team on the ground put your gifts to such incredible use is both humbling and inspiring. This is such an encouragement as my family gears up to rejoin our team over there. Thanks for walking this journey with us!
