Thanks for taking a moment to catch up with what has been happening with our project partners in Myanmar, and how your support is making a real difference on the ground. Your partnership is important to us, and we’re grateful to have you alongside us in this work.

OUR PROJECTS

Project - Health for the Hidden (Karen State)

Earth Mission continues to bring healthcare and healthcare education to rural Myanmar, student by student and patient by patient.

As rainy season comes to a close, patient numbers will increase as access to the clinic is restored.

This precious little bubba was born prematurely in early September weighing only 1.3 kilos. She was provided care in the Special Baby Care Unit (SBCU). After one month of expert care by the EM team, baby Prayer Moo had gained weight, was breastfeeding well, and preparing to return home.

Project - Community Care (Yangon)

The children attending the school in the urban informal settlement love to learn. Their parents understand the importance of education and are grateful for the opportunity to send their children to a school where the teachers are dedicated and caring.

In September the staff and volunteers who work in the informal settlement got together and donated items of clothing from their friends and family to distribute to the community. Over 200 people were given the opportunity to select items and were blessed by their generosity.

Mon and Eh Hsu - Mon’s visa has been approved and now they are waiting for the others to be processed. Please continue to pray for Mon and Eh Hsu as they make plans to return to RTC for a period.

As unbelievable as it seems, we are in the countdown to Christmas again! Over several weeks in December, we'll be sharing 12 Days of Impact - 12 real stories from communities in Myanmar, and 12 ways that kindness can change lives. You’ll meet mothers receiving life - saving healthcare, children gaining access to education and nutrition, young people learning skills to build brighter futures and local health workers serving some of the most remote communities in the world.
